Depending upon the type of plan and the investment platform selected, American Retirement Plan Services, L.L.C. will perform some or all of the following administrative functions:
Receipt of census data
Calculation and allocation of contributions
Download of participant account data
Receipt of duplicate investment statements or download of daily valuations for Trust Accounting and valuation
Preparation of annual discrimination, with report of same to the Trustees (semi-annual testing available upon request)
Coverage testing as required by the Internal Revenue Service
Preparation of Beneficiary Forms
Coordination of limited scope audit by CPA and investment company
Preparation of Internal Revenue Service forms: 5500, Schedules and any other applicable attachments
Actuarial Schedule SB for Defined Benefit Plans
Preparation of Safe Harbor Notice (when applicable)
Preparation of Information for Required Quarterly Benefit Statements (for plan year 2007 and thereafter)
Our presence, when requested, at employee enrollment meetings
Summary annual reports and management reports
Ongoing telephone support to assist with client questions concerning the plan
* Distribution calculations for terminated participants * 1096, 1099-R and Form 945 * Loan amortization schedules and security agreements * Representation of a client during a plan audit by the Internal Revenue Service or Department of Labor * Hardship withdrawal forms (when applicable) *Plan Corrections
